Welder - Finish at 3:30pm Every Day!

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30 (40 hours per week) - Enjoy your afternoons with an early 3:30pm finish every day!

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Contract: Permanent (following a successful 3-month probation)

What You'll Be Doing

  • MIG welding mild steel from 20mm+ thickness
  • Fabricating components using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Operating cutting, drilling, and grinding machinery
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld symbols
  • Producing high-quality work to company and industry standards
  • Following all health and safety procedures within the workshop

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a MIG Welder
  • Fabrication experience is highly desirable and may attract a higher rate of pay
  • Ability to confidently read engineering drawings and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider workshop team
