Are you a MIG Welder looking for your next opportunity with a well-established engineering company?
We're recruiting for a Welder to join a busy workshop in Ipswich on a rolling contract. This role would suit both experienced welders and junior welders looking to develop their skills, with training and support available for the right person.
You'll be carrying out predominantly MIG welding, alongside some TIG welding and general fabrication duties, working from engineering drawings within a clean and organised workshop environment.

The Role
- MIG welding mild and stainless steel (2mm-15mm)
- Occasional TIG welding
- Fabricating using a range of hand and power tools
- Operating cutting, drilling and grinding machinery
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Working to health & safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- MIG welding skills with TIG experience - not essential
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Confident reading engineering drawings and weld symbols
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
