Description

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-focused Welder to join our team at Witheridge. About The Role

Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

You’ll be:

  • Completing daily fabrication tasks with care and efficiency.
  • Delivering high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reporting equipment faults and supporting workshop safety.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-conscious workspace.
  • Following company procedures and health & safety regulations.
  • Supporting other duties as needed while contributing to a positive team environment.

Practical Fabricator Role (Note: Title assured to match original, though context as Fabricator)

We’re looking for a practical, detail-focused Fabricator to join our team. The role offers:

  • Completing daily fabrication tasks efficiently.
  • Ensuring meticulous workmanship.
  • An opportunity to contribute to British agriculture through quality steelwork.
  • Membership in a supportive team prioritising safety and innovation.

Key Responsibilities • Everyday fabrication tasks managed with precision • Consistent delivery of high-quality, accuracy-driven work • Equipment fault reporting + fostering shop safety • Maintaining a tidy, clustered and safety-first workspace • Compliance with company procedures & health & safety • As-needed support for additional tasks + positive team contribution


About You

Required (or beneficial):

  • Practical fabrication/welding experience.
  • Workshop/yard environment familiarity.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings (affirmative).
  • Knowledge of welding techniques & equipment.
  • Awareness of health & safety legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal & teamwork skills.
  • Problem-solving approach + self-driven learning.
  • Disposition of ownership for impactful workmanship.
