Summary of Vacancy

Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator with experience working on industrial machinery such as conveyors, motors, and gearboxes?

We are currently looking for a dedicated Welder to join the team in our Bolton site. If you’re a skilled fabricator looking for a new opportunity within a well-established business who can support your career development, then please see details below and apply!

About The Role

Location: Higher Swan Lane, Bolton, Manchester, BL3 3AJ
Salary: £42,532.66 per annum / £18.58 per hour
Working Hours: 44 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday & Tuesday - Friday alternating working week
Shift Hours: To be confirmed
PPE: Full PPE provided

What are the Requirements?

  • Recognised welder qualification.
  • Experience working on conveyors, motors, and gearboxes, etc.
  • Extensive experience with welding and fabricating.

What will I be Doing as a Fabricator/Welder?

  • To carry out welding and fabrication repairs to the highest standards on company assets.
  • To estimate and assess damage and advise the maintenance supervisors.
  • Always adhere to Health & Safety rules, ensuring work areas are clean and tidy.
  • You will work as a dedicated Welder/Fabricator on site.
  • Potential for mobile on-site work around the Manchester area, supporting other team members in general maintenance activities when on site.
  • Working solo or as part of a team.
  • Be willing to learn small mechanical tasks by association with the technicians and supervisors.
  • To report any activity that falls outside of the company policy and procedures to Management.
  • Form and maintain excellent relationships with shift supervisors, managers, and site operatives.
  • Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work as required.
  • Keep the work area clean and tidy as per the 5S requirements.
