Job Summary

We are seeking a Fabricator Welder to join our team based at Newburn.

Core Responsibilities

As a Fabricator Welder, your role will involve:

  • Completing welding and fabrication jobs to exact specifications
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings produced by our in-house Rail Design Team
  • Producing high-quality work aligned with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Adhering to Works Instructions and health and safety protocols

Working Arrangements

  • Permanent role, 37 hours per week
    • Monday–Wednesday: 19:45 until 05:45
    • Thursday: 19:45 until 04:45
  • 33% shift uplift applying to these hours.

Key Requirements

Experience & Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Proven MAG welding experience
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings precisely
  • Advantageous: Experience with oxy-acetylene heating equipment and working to fine tolerances (e.g., using digital bevel gauges)
  • Skilled in cosmetic finishing using hand tools
