What You Will Do
- Assemble, build, and test any product or component both with and without the aid of a drawing
- Execute the shop floor build schedule promptly and productively
- Operate all manual equipment required to complete any aspect of the role within the set environment
- Build products and parts to the required standard and identify any variances in quality, ensuring necessary corrections are implemented
- Take responsibility for identified manufactured and purchased KanBan parts (80s) within your cell that require replenishment, and take appropriate actions as identified in the material KanBan process
- Control and assist with the movements of all materials within your area/cell
- Ensure that nothing gets made without a KanBan trigger notification or work order
- Take instructions from the Area’s Cell Leader, Assembly Manager, Industrial Engineer, or Planner
Key Responsibilities:
- Highlight any problems and collaborate with relevant teams to implement short and long-term solutions for cell operations and plant/factory efficiency
- Maintain required certifications, including:
- Welding
- Forklift truck
- Crane operation
- All appropriate verification tasks
- Continuously strive to identify improvements and efficiency savings to enhance productivity and effectiveness
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards are maintained to the highest quality, adhering to all policies, procedures, and best practices
- Work effectively as part of the team, collaborating with all members
- Participate openly in any ITW toolbox initiatives, projects, or improvement tasks with a flexible and adaptable approach
- Comply with all Company policies, including:
- Health and Safety
- Ethics
- Conduct
- All policies and appendices within the Contract of Employment
- Undertake any other duties parent to the scope of the role as required

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Factory-Based Role
- Work Environment: Experience conducting manual work is essential
- Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday) primarily based in the factory
