The Role

Due to continued demand, we are seeking a time-served Fabricator / Welder to join our busy workshop team in Newburgh.

The successful candidate will be able to work from detailed engineering drawings and will have a good understanding of fabrication workshop machinery and processes. You will take pride in producing high-quality work, working safely and efficiently as part of a skilled team.

Previous experience of MIG and TIG welding processes is preferred; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld components from detailed engineering drawings.
  • Carry out MIG and TIG welding activities where required.
  • Operate fabrication workshop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Produce work to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
  • Work effectively as part of the workshop team.

Essential

  • Time-served Fabricator / Welder.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Good working knowledge of fabrication shop machinery and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable, conscientious, and safety-focused.

Desirable

  • Previous MIG and TIG welding experience.
  • Welding qualifications or coding experience.
