About the Role
As Welding Quality Manager, you will take ownership of welding quality across the business, ensuring robust governance, ISO 3834 compliance, and continuous improvement across internal operations and subcontract partners. You will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, project, procurement, supplier, and certification stakeholders to maintain high standards and drive practical quality improvements.

Job Title: Welding Quality Manager
Location: Banbridge Feeder Sites
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7am–4.30pm and Friday 7am–1.30pm
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Responsible to: Quality Control Manager

What You'll be Doing
- Leading welding quality governance and ensuring compliance with ISO 3834 requirements, including maintaining certification and supporting customer audits.
- Providing technical leadership across welding operations, overseeing weld inspections, NDT activities, welding procedures, welder qualifications, traceability, and documentation to ensure full audit readiness and compliance.
- Driving continuous improvement by leading non-conformance investigations, implementing corrective actions, and reducing defects and rework.
- Supporting supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
- Delivering KPI reporting and risk escalation to senior management.
- Promoting a strong right-first-time quality culture through training, toolbox talks, and the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the business.
