Welfare Adviser
Make a Meaningful Impact Behind the Scenes at Capital City College
Are you ready to make an impact at one of London’s leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled welfare adviser to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About The Role
This role is offered on a term-time only, fixed-term basis (40 hours). The contract ends on 18 December 2026.
The Welfare Adviser is responsible for supporting and promoting the overall welfare of students, ensuring they receive guidance and assistance to succeed academically and personally. The role includes providing practical and pastoral support to learners.

You will be collaborating with a dynamic and supportive team of four colleagues, all dedicated to excellence. The team thrives on a strong collaborative culture, sharing best practices and innovative approaches.
About You
We’re seeking a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. Ideal candidates should possess:
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Experience dealing with wide-ranging welfare issues, including:
- Health
- Financial hardship
- Housing
- Personal crisis management
- A sound understanding of Data Protection and information-sharing regulations
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience in a similar role
