About The Role
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a diverse range of activities that engage and enhance residents’ physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining a safe, supportive, and professional living and working environment.
- Reporting any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
- Assisting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed by the coordinator.
- Supporting the establishment of local community connections (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums, libraries) to foster intergenerational activities and encourage access to the wider community.
About You
To succeed as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you must embody and uphold our core values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Ideal Candidate Must Include:
- Strong effective communication skills (both verbal and written) to ensure clarity and connection with residents and colleagues.
- A demonstrated understanding of how interaction positively impacts the holistic well-being of individuals.
- A positive attitude toward working with older adults, with a commitment to delivering stimulating, high-quality activities and social engagements.
- Prior experience working with older individuals within a residential nursing or Dementia care setting is highly desirable.
