About The Role

Your focus as Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while ensuring the promotion of the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
  • Planning and submitting to the Home Manager:
    • A monthly activity and wellbeing plan
    • A weekly overview
  • Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
  • Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.

About You

To be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in all that you do.

Our Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing or dementia setting.
  • Experience in organising activities and events.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
