Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator | Clare Court Care Home, Birmingham

About the Role

At Avery Healthcare, we’re dedicated to supporting the teams who care for our residents every day. By joining our award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Clare Court Care Home in Birmingham, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging, stimulating, and fulfilling activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing residents’ well-being by designing a broad range of activities that support physical, psychological, and social development.
  • Promoting core principles of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment in all interactions.
  • Listening to residents and their families to document their life stories, preferences, and needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and submit a monthly activity and wellbeing plan, along with a weekly overview, to the Home Manager.
  • Organise and promote activities, events, and outings, encouraging participation from staff, families, and visitors.
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and professional environment to reflect the high standards of Clare Court Care Home.

About You

Ideal Candidate Requirements

✅ Experience in residential care for older adults, particularly in nursing or dementia settings. ✅ Proven ability to organise activities and events effectively. ✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills. ✅ A positive attitude towards working with older adults and a commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging social and recreational activities.
