We’re now seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at our care home in Eastbourne. If you’re passionate about enhancing human connection through meaningful activities, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be to planning engaging activities that promote the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of residents. You’ll champion principles of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and personal fulfilment for every individual.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Gaining insight into the life stories, needs, and personal preferences of residents through discussions with them and their families to craft detailed life plans.
- Collaborating closely with the Home Manager by developing and submitting:
- A monthly activity and wellbeing plan
- An updated weekly overview
- Creating dynamic programs—activities, events, and community outings—encouraging participation from staff, families, and visitors.
- Ensuring a safe and warm environment, contributing to the home’s professional and welcoming culture.
About You
We’re looking for someone who embodies our values—caring, support, honesty, respectability, and accountability. Our ideal candidate has:
- Prior experience working with older adults in residential nursing settings, particularly those with dementia.
- Proven ability to organise activities and events in a way that fosters connection and joy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with colleagues, families, and residents.
- A genuine passion for enriching older lives through stimulating, high-quality social experiences.
