Wellbeing Coordinator - Bank

Activities Coordinator – Bank Role

Location: Birkin Lodge Nursing Home, Tunbridge Wells Hours: Bank (Availability at short notice for planned activities and events)

Birkin Lodge Nursing Home, part of the compassionate Country Court Family, is a family-led residential and nursing care provider located just 10 minutes from Tunbridge Wells train station. We foster an environment where every resident feels safe, valued, and engaged.

We’re seeking an Activities Coordinator to deliver engaging, thought-provoking, and diverse programming for our residents—from seasonal crafts to local outings. Join us to make a tangible difference as we nurture personal connections and stimulation for our residents.


Key Responsibilities

Your role will ensure residents experience purpose, joy, and community. You must:

  • Design & deliver diverse activities tailored to individuals, small groups, or large gatherings—covering creative, social, and educational interests.
  • Drive the "Resident of the Day" programme, engaging with every resident to deepen understanding and deliver personalised experiences.
  • Collaborate with local community groups to foster partnerships and expand opportunities for residents.
  • Inspire resident well-being with energetic, engaging, and inclusive interaction—from seasonal celebrations to charity events.
  • Plan and arrange trips/experiences within the local area to promote autonomy, engagement, and connection.
  • Coordinate major annual events, such as:
    • festive seasonal activities
    • charity fundraising
    • special interest workshops.
