Role Description
The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for identifying, developing, negotiating, selling and implementing the entire Dale Medical product portfolio within acute and non-acute patient care settings.
- The RBM will proactively seek innovative ways to align the company growth targets with customer objectives, to meet and exceed Dale Medical business goals.
- Within assigned geography, the RBM will be the primary point of contact for customers and convert leads/opportunities into new sales growth.
- The RBM will possess a strong sales and customer service mindset, with demonstrated success in previous sales roles.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with health system decision makers to profitably grow Dale Medical business within the assigned region.
- Drive execution through sales channels including independent sales, distributors, and other representatives.
- Negotiate contracts and system-level partnerships.
- Develop and execute business plans at the corporate level and perform routine business reviews with Sales and Marketing leadership and appropriate organizational stakeholders.
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders including R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations.
- Support and comply with all Dale Medical’s quality, regulatory and internal policies, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience in medical device sales, such as disposable, surgical, or other medical devices, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibilities or scope.
- Successful executive and clinical selling, negotiation, and contracting experience.
- Strong peer leadership skills and a high level of professional maturity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence with using a mobile device, tablet, and laptop/computer. Demonstratable fluency with data/analytic reporting tools, CRM, and MS-Office applications.
- Positive, collaborative and enthusiastic about the role. Coachable. Accountable. Goal-driven and self-motivated.
- Ability to travel approximately 70% (may include overnight/weekend travel).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle as required for business travel within the assigned territory.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must maintain ongoing work authorization without employer sponsorship.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain all required credentials, immunizations, background checks, vendor clearances, and any other qualifications necessary to access and conduct business within medical and healthcare facilities.
Physical Demands
- This role requires regular travel by automobile, train, and air.
- Employee is occasionally required to:
- Stand, walk, sit for extended periods,
- Use hands to handle objects or equipment,
- Reach with hands and arms,
- Climb stairs,
- Stoop, kneel,
- Communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must occasionally lift or move product samples and demonstration materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Depth perception,
- Ability to adjust focus.
