Hours and Salary
- Contract type: Permanent
- Hours: Full Time (~41 hours per week) Shift pattern: Rotating shift over 7 days (e.g. five over eight)
- Salary:
- Starter: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (OTE £32K – £38K)
- After qualification*: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (OTE £35K – £41K) (OTE includes extra earnings)

The Role: In Detail
As a White Goods Engineer, you’ll maintain and repair appliances in customers’ homes. Your responsibilities include:
- Self-managing work: Driving a company-issued van to efficiently cover your territory (90%+ of the role is independent work).
- Technical expertise: Testing, diagnosing, repairing, and installing white goods (e.g., microwaves, washing machines, fridges). Building technical knowledge to provide trusted advice to customers.
- Customer support: Delivering exceptional service by troubleshooting repairs and going above and beyond to ensure perfect customer satisfaction. Building rapport with customers to help them feel confident and at ease.

What We’re Looking For
Essential requirements:
✔ Hands-on experience: Proven track record in repairing white goods. ✔ Dirty business: Confidence working in customers’ homes, possibly with hygiene challenges. ✔ Driving: Full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. ✔ Energy credentials (optional but valued): ACS (or equivalent) qualifications in:
- Essential Gas Safety Domestic (CCN1)
- Gas Cookers and Ranges (CKR1)
Nice-to-have:
✅ A passion for problem-solving and fixing appliances with a smile.
