Within Verisk Specialty Business Solutions (VSBS), our market-leading Whitespace platform is transforming the London Market by digitising complex placement and underwriting processes, enabling smarter decisions, greater efficiency and seamless collaboration across the insurance ecosystem.
We’re looking for a Whitespace Automation Consultant to join our growing team. If you enjoy solving complex business challenges, working closely with clients and using technology to deliver meaningful transformation, this is your opportunity to make a real impact with some of the world’s leading insurance organisations.
Why Join Us?
You’ll become a trusted advisor to insurers, brokers and MGAs, helping them modernise the way they operate through automation, digital workflows and intelligent platform configuration. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you’ll help clients unlock greater efficiency, improve placement processes and maximise the value of the Whitespace platform.
Partnering with Product and Delivery teams, you’ll not only influence successful client outcomes but also help shape the future direction of the platform itself.
If you enjoy building lasting relationships, solving complex challenges and seeing the tangible impact of your work, you’ll thrive here.

- Advise clients and design configuration solutions based on understanding of the WA solution, insurance processes and the Whitespace Platform and its data
- Scope and support configuration of insurance product rules, validation logic and workflows within the Whitespace Automation solution.
- Validate outputs against realistic business scenarios and to ensure accuracy.
- Support client testing, defect management and release readiness.
- Facilitate client workshops, requirements review sessions and stakeholder discussions.
- Collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams to deliver successful implementations.
- Support pre-sales activities, product demonstrations and customer presentations.
- Deliver training sessions and promote best practice across both clients and internal teams.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of our consulting capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
