Wholesale Finance Analyst

Role Overview: We're looking for an ambitious Financial Analyst to join our Finance team supporting our iconic Liberty Fabrics Wholesale business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their finance career who is keen to study towards a professional accounting qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a commercial environment.
You'll receive in-house training, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to develop across financial reporting, forecasting, business partnering and commercial analysis.

Role Overview: Supporting month-end close, management accounts and P&L reporting Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Analysing sales, margins and order books to provide commercial insights Partnering with teams across the business to help manage costs and improve performance Supporting quarterly agent commission calculations and reporting Using AI tools such as Copilot and Claude to improve reporting and identify opportunities for automation
About You: Is studying (or ready to begin studying) towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA Has strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, LOOKUPs and data analysis) Enjoys working with numbers and solving problems Has excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset Is curious about how technology and AI can improve finance processes Wants to build a long-term career in commercial finance
