Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Support professional who can operate in a fast-moving environment with the ability to handle a dynamic and challenging business agenda.

Role Overview

As a Business Management - Vice President within the Wholesale KYC Operations Team you will be responsible for a broad set of business management activities, including EMEA internal projects with regional and global impact, monitoring significant risks, and ensuring compliance with operational policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements. You will support the end-to-end WKO organization by providing management with timely and accurate information to understand and monitor key operational risks and regulatory activities/concerns. You will support business planning activities, including budgeting and resiliency planning, and to deliver high-quality research and materials for senior leadership (reports, business plans, proposals and business cases, operational and technical documentation, and presentations). In addition, you will collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources and prepare, analyse, and automate management information (MI) to improve efficiency, transparency, and governance across operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to inform business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare, analyse, and automate management information (MI) reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Conduct research and produce reports, business plans, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Draft operational and technical documentation, including proposals and business cases.
  • Support budgeting and resiliency planning activities in partnership with the EMEA WKO COO and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions (including guidance on key process and technology initiatives).
  • Contribute to compliance and governance projects, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide executive support to the Executive Director and the wider team, including coordination across stakeholders and workstreams.
  • When required, lead remediation projects: investigate emerging issues, perform root cause analysis, and partner with the WKO remediation team and Production Oversight to define and execute resolution plans.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of WKO policies, procedures, operating model, and the systems/platforms used to carry out these activities; stay up to date on process/procedure and regulatory changes and assess impacts to in-progress requests.
  • Build and develop strong partnerships, identify challenges and eliminate roadblocks with internal partners, and manage personal workload/priorities with timely escalation of key risks/issues to management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Resilient interpersonal skills, ability to partner with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex policy and operational concepts to both senior management and junior operational staff.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Data Analytics.
  • AI knowledge and understanding, including Large Language Models, agentic AI concepts, and practical awareness of model limitations, controls, and risks.
  • Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude for learning new regulations, processes and technologies.
  • Ability to be flexible and follow tight deadlines.
