Wholesale Merchandiser
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to 45K + benefits
We have been working with this growing 10-year-old menswear supplier for a number of years. They started very small and have organically slowly built a reputation of great product for menswear casual brands and retailers in the UK. They are looking to add to their workforce an experienced Wholesale / Import Merchandiser who will be a linchpin in the business due to ongoing success.
DUTIES:
- Liaising with Retail Buyers: The Wholesale / Import Merchandiser will be liaising with retail buyers, the design team, and supporting staff as well as external suppliers.
- Work Close with Tech and Design Teams: To gather all info for sampling and costing.
- Deal with Costings and Lead Time Negotiation: Confirming and raising orders.
- Deal with Sample and Trim Management: Manage the critical path from order to delivery via factories and retailers.
- Liaise with Shipping: Ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED:
- Recent Experience: Ideally, the candidate will have worked in a UK supplier in a similar role or as Wholesale / Import Merchandiser in the same type of business.
- Get the Job Done Mentality: A passion for menswear is crucial.
- Solid Experience: In dealing and liaison with retail buyers.
- Great Understanding: Of critical path management, including shipping and factory liaison.
- First Class English Communication Skills: Both written and verbal.
- Location: Based and commutable to Manchester centre daily and eligible to work in the UK.
