About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Whoosh Trading Executive to join one of Tesco's fastest-growing channels. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in delivering our seasonal trading plans and content strategies, helping to drive engagement, sales, and customer satisfaction across the Whoosh platform.
As a Whoosh Trading Executive, you will coordinate cross-functional teams within our rapid-commerce business to successfully deliver key initiatives and campaigns. You will be responsible for managing and optimising content across both our app and web platforms, ensuring customers receive an engaging, relevant, and seamless online experience.
Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you will execute our online content strategy, maintain content accuracy, and support trading performance through data-driven insights and continuous optimisation. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment where customer focus and agility are at the heart of everything we do.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and a good understanding of the rapid-commerce landscape. You'll be highly organised, proactive, and excited by the challenge of delivering impactful results in a growing digital channel.
You will be responsible for
- Seasonal Planning & Delivery: Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of seasonal campaigns and key trading events across the Whoosh proposition, ensuring plans, timelines, and priorities are aligned to deliver a great customer experience.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships and working collaboratively across Commercial, Operations, Fulfilment, Analytics, Design, Marketing, Customer and external partners to successfully deliver seasonal trading moments.
- Content Management & Execution: Managing and optimising content across app and web placements, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, accurate and delivered on time.
- Trading Performance & Optimisation: Using customer, trading and performance insights to identify opportunities, optimise activity and improve engagement, conversion and sales.
- Performance Analysis: Reviewing the effectiveness of seasonal events and campaigns, sharing key learnings and recommendations, and driving continuous improvement.
- Content Governance & Quality: Maintaining high standards through regular content reviews and audits, ensuring all content is accurate, compliant and reflects Tesco brand standards.

You will need
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
- Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using data and insights to make decisions.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- A proactive, adaptable and solution-focused approach, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Experience using Excel, Outlook, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, and workflow tools such as Trello, Jira, Miro, or Aha.
- Experience with content management platforms such as Magnolia, Spectra, or GAM.
- Experience in content management, online trading, trade planning, or a similar digital/e-commerce role (desirable)

- Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary.
- Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays).
- Retirement savings plan - save between 6% - 10% and Tesco will contribute 1.5 times this amount.
- 26 weeks maternity and adoption leave (12 months service required at the qualifying date) at full pay, followed by 13 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay, we also offer 6 weeks fully paid paternity leave.
