About GN Law

GN Law is an independent law firm with a committed team of solicitors, paralegals, and support staff. We represent clients locally in North Finchley, Whetstone, and Barnet and more widely across London and the UK.

Our specialist areas of law include:

  • Court of Protection – safeguarding the rights and interests of vulnerable individuals
  • Mental Health – supporting and representing patients detained under the Mental Health Act
  • Claims Against Police & Public Authorities – challenging misconduct and abuses of power
  • Wills, Trusts & Probate – helping clients plan for their future and the future of their families
  • Family – supporting families through divorce, financial matters, and children cases

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Solicitor (0–2 years’ PQE) to join our growing Wills, Trusts & Probate department. We specialise in all aspects of private client work including will drafting, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, deputyship applications, contentious probate, and probate/estate administration.

As part of our commitment to growing talent within the department, we are committed to investing in our junior solicitors and supporting them in undertaking STEP and/or ACTAPS accreditation, funded by the firm. We have one fully accredited member of STEP and two of our solicitors are affiliate members of STEP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their expertise and careers alongside a supportive and highly experienced team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
