Wind Services Sales Director

We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Wind Services Sales Director to lead the sales efforts within our Wind Services business line.

The role is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that positions Aurora Energy Services as the partner of choice for wind services across Blade Repair, Major component exchange, and maintenance services. The successful candidate will bring an established network, a track record of closing high-value contracts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities shall include the following:

  • Work with the US Wind Services management team to develop and implement business development strategies to meet revenue targets in wind services within the Americas.
  • Develop and nurture client relationships with key decision-makers to secure new contracts and partnerships and ensure that the CRM system is kept updated and maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the technical and management teams to create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the unique needs of clients.
  • Ensure customer feedback and market data is gathered and analyzed for all to ensure client satisfaction and identification of new trends and opportunities.
  • Manage salesforce across the US driving the culture within the business line.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients to showcase our services and training programs.
  • Create sales forecasts and provide input to the Company’s budget.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events and conduct client visits to build and maintain a strong professional network.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Actively participate in the development and delivery of the company’s marketing strategy, including website development and advertising campaigns to attract both clients and prospective candidates.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the wind energy sector, with a strong focus on services (blade repair, major component exchange).
  • Demonstrated track record of winning large, complex contracts within the wind services space.
  • Established network of contacts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand client needs, structure compelling value propositions, and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
