Adamas Wind, part of the Galetech Group, is a trusted partner in optimising wind turbine performance. We specialise in delivering Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services across the renewable energy sector.

Location Requirement
This role is based in Workington. Candidates must either currently reside within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate to the area. Regular travel during working hours is expected, however this is a site-based role and local presence is essential to support operational requirements.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the O&M Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance on Vestas wind turbines (V47, V52 and V80).
This is a hands-on, operational role focused on maintaining turbine availability, responding to faults, and ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Maintenance & Fault Response
- Carry out scheduled servicing in line with OEM and internal procedures
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control systems
- Respond to turbine breakdowns in a timely and effective manner
- Support major component replacements and corrective maintenance activities
- Take a proactive approach to prevent failures and reduce downtime
Operational Delivery
- Deliver work to a high technical standard with a strong focus on turbine availability
- Support daily site operations, ensuring tasks are prioritised effectively
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and fault activity
Safety & Compliance
- Work in full compliance with WTSR, site rules, and company procedures
- Maintain high standards of safety, PPE, and site behaviour
- Identify and manage risks associated with turbine operations
On-Call Support
- Participate in the on-call rota, including weekends and out-of-hours support
- Respond to faults and support turbine recovery during escalations
Inventory & Asset Management
- Manage local spares, consumables and tooling
- Support stock control and ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated
Communication & Reporting
- Communicate effectively with the Area Manager and wider team
- Accurately complete work orders and documentation within the CMMS (X5)

Qualifications, Experience And Transferable Skills (Essential)
- Proven experience working within the wind industry
- Experience on Vestas V47 and V52 turbines (V80 desirable)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Understanding of WTSR and working within safety-critical environments
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working at height
- Full UK driving licence
