Vestas Installation Technicians & Team Leads – Multiple Opportunities (UK)

Mechanical | Electrical | Cabling | QA/QC | Team Leads

We are currently seeking experienced Vestas Installation Technicians and Team Leads to support a number of ongoing wind turbine installation projects across the UK.

We have opportunities for experienced professionals within:

  • Mechanical Installation
  • Electrical Installation
  • Internal & External Cabling
  • QA/QC Inspection
  • Team Lead / Supervisory Positions

Various rotation patterns available, offering flexibility depending on project requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

  • ✅ Proven Vestas wind turbine installation experience
  • ✅ Valid GWO Certification
  • ✅ Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
  • ✅ Strong commitment to quality, safety and project delivery
  • ✅ Fluent English communication skills

Role-Specific Requirements

Mechanical Installation Technicians

  • Experience with turbine mechanical installation activities
  • Nacelle, hub and drivetrain assembly experience
  • Bolt tensioning and torqueing knowledge
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and work instructions

Electrical Installation Technicians

  • Experience installing and terminating electrical systems within wind turbines
  • Knowledge of LV systems, commissioning support and fault finding
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

Cabling Technicians

  • Internal turbine cabling experience
  • Cable pulling, routing, dressing and termination
  • Experience working to Vestas quality standards

QA/QC Technicians

  • Wind turbine installation quality inspection experience
  • Completion and management of quality documentation
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformances
  • Strong attention to detail and reporting skills

Team Leads

  • Previous experience leading installation teams on Vestas projects
  • Strong planning, coordination and reporting skills
  • Ability to drive safety, quality and productivity on site
  • Experience coordinating client and subcontractor activities

Nice to Have

  • ⭐ Experience on Vestas platforms including:
    • V162 EnVentus
    • V172 EnVentus
    • V150
    • V136
  • ⭐ Vestas A, C or D authorisations
  • ⭐ Installation or Major Component Exchange (MCE) experience
  • ⭐ CCNSG Safety Passport
  • ⭐ CSCS Card
  • ⭐ Telehandler, MEWP, Slinger/Signaller or Banksman qualifications
  • ⭐ HV Awareness
  • ⭐ Additional first aid qualifications
  • ⭐ Previous onshore or offshore wind experience
