About the Role
We are expanding our fleet of wind turbines in the UK and seek Wind Turbine Technicians to enhance our expertise on the EWT platform. This hands-on position is ideal for an experienced professional skilled in turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation. You will:
- Work collaboratively with the team to elevate operational efficiency.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (both onsite and assisting remote teams).
- Mentor junior technicians and share specialised knowledge.
The role balances technical problem-solving with team leadership, offering opportunities to develop both hard and soft skills.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll focus on:
Technical Excellence
- Maintain and optimise wind turbine performance to full operational capacity.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and systems-based issues during walk-downs.
- Collaborate with remote technical teams to analyse data and refine operations.
Knowledge Sharing & Team Leadership
- Mentor colleagues on wind turbine-specific competences.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture within a supportive logistical and technical team.
Field Deployment
- Conduct onsite assessments across multiple turbine sites (domestic & international).
- Carry out routine and specialised maintenance (blade checks, statutory inspections, etc.).
- Support 24/7 remote monitoring teams as required.

Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Qualification: Level 3 Award in Electrical or Mechanical (or equivalent experience within the wind industry).
- Experience: Proven track record in wind turbine troubleshooting (mechanical/electrical).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve critical issues during turbine inspections.
Physical & Logistical Fit
- UK driver’s licence (must bundle with willingness for international travel).
- Ability to work at heights and physically demanding environments.
- Availability for weekend on-call rota (emergency support).
