Company Description

RADGAW - Radcliffe Glass & Windows designs, manufactures, and installs windows, doors, orangeries, and conservatories that meet British Standards. The company is FENSA certified and works closely with customers to create double-glazed units that enhance property appearance while providing strong security. RADGAW also offers home improvement services such as roof repair and door fitting. The business serves customers across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Cheshire, including Radcliffe, Bury, Prestwich, Salford, Ramsbottom, and surrounding areas. Team members join a specialist glazing company focused on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Window & Door Surveyor role is based in Greater Manchester. The Window & Door Surveyor will visit customer properties to measure openings accurately, assess site conditions, and confirm technical requirements for windows, doors, and associated products. The Window & Door Surveyor will help identify potential installation challenges and recommend practical solutions to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong measuring and surveying skills for windows, doors, and related glazing installations, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of building construction, fenestration products, and relevant safety and quality standards (e.g., British Standards, FENSA requirements).
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to explain technical information clearly and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, prepare clear documentation, and use basic IT tools for reports, schedules, and job records.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess site constraints and propose practical solutions for installation teams.
  • Previous experience in window and door surveying, glazing, or a related construction trade is highly beneficial.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.
  • Commitment to safe working practices, punctuality, and reliability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
