Window Fitter's Mate – Timber Windows & Doors (Oxford, Oxfordshire)

Salary: £15.50 - £17.50 per hour Type: Full Time Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire


About the Role

We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Window Fitter's Mate to join our team assisting with the installation of high-quality timber windows and doors in residential properties. Working alongside experienced fitters, you’ll help ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.

This is an outstanding opportunity for professionals looking to launch or advance their career in the window and door installation sector, with a focus on premium timber installations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead fitters with the precise installation of timber windows, doors, and accessory products.
  • Handle the loading, unloading, and transporting of materials, tools, and equipment to/from job sites.
  • Prepare work areas and protect customer properties during installation works.
  • Support the removal and disposal of existing windows and doors.
  • Safely manipulate and position timber frames, glazing units, and other materials.
  • Perform sealing, finishing, and site-cleaning tasks to ensure notable results.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Adherence to all health and safety protocols and company policies.
  • Contribute to customer service excellence with courteous professionalism.
