Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Window Installer role based in Bristol. The Window Installer will be responsible for the safe and accurate installation of energy-efficient windows and related components in domestic and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include preparing work areas, removing existing units, fitting new windows, sealing and finishing installations, and ensuring all work meets relevant standards and regulations. The role involves using hand and power tools, reading and interpreting installation plans, collaborating with other site professionals, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Window Installer will also interact with customers on-site, provide basic guidance on product use and care, and complete required documentation and reports for each job.

  • Strong practical skills in window installation, general construction, and use of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient building measures and basic understanding of retrofit principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret installation instructions, drawings, and site plans.
  • Commitment to health and safety practices, including safe working at height and manual handling.
  • Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach when working on-site.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage tasks independently when required.
  • Relevant trade or construction experience; formal qualifications or certifications in construction or fenestration are an advantage.
  • Full, valid driving license and willingness to travel to various job sites in and around Bristol.
