Windows Graphics Software Engineer
Senior Graphics Driver Developer – Direct3D
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Imagination’s Windows Graphics Driver Team.
The team develops a high-performance software stack designed to accelerate the Direct3D APIs using Imagination GPUs.
The Senior Graphics Driver Developer will be involved in all aspects of developing the DirectX driver for Imagination’s technology:
- Collaborate with Imagination’s hardware engineering team to support next-generation GPU development
- Engage directly with Imagination’s customers to help extract maximum performance from their platforms
- Work closely with Microsoft on advancing driver technology for future operating systems
Responsibilities
- Develop Direct3D drivers for both current and next-generation Imagination GPUs
- Ensure high quality and optimal performance for the Direct3D software stack
- Work with engineering teams to deliver robust Direct3D API support for existing and future products
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and their partners when bringing products to market

Requirements
Must-have experience and skills:
- Strong knowledge of Direct3D (or equivalent 3D graphics APIs)
- Experience with graphics compilers is highly desirable
- Solid background in GPU driver design and development
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming
- Understanding of computer architecture (CPU, cache hierarchy, MMU, memory systems, etc.)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- A results-driven attitude, with a focus on delivering the highest quality outcomes
Nice-to-have advantages:
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment
- Familiarity with internationalisation processes in a large multinational company
