Overall Purpose of the Job
Expro is currently recruiting a Wireless Operations Engineer to join their Wireless Wells Solutions (WWS) team. This position will be based in Ringwood, Hampshire, UK but there will be a requirement to travel to field locations internationally. The role involves assisting with the preparation, installation, and commissioning of all WWS products and services globally, in full compliance with Expro standards & appropriate client/industry requirements.
Key Activities And Accountabilities
- Assist with Equipment Deployment: Support the safe installation and commissioning of WWS tools globally, ensuring accurate data delivery
- Execute Operational Tasks: Carry out equipment preparation, testing, packing, inventory, load-out, and backload under supervision
- Support Documentation & Planning: Complete required documentation and assist with planning activities such as risk assessments, FATs, and SITs
- Ensure Compliance: Follow all Expro, client, and country-specific operational and safety protocols, including Management of Change (MOC)
- Troubleshoot & Report Issues: Assist with fault finding and report equipment or procedural issues to supervisors using Expro’s reporting systems
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Monitor and report equipment usage, damage, or loss to the field supervisor
- Communicate Effectively: Provide clear handovers and updates to supervisors and maintain professional conduct with clients
- Participate in Training: Engage in the WWS Learning and Development Competency System and stay informed on technical updates
- Champion Safety: Promote a strong safety culture and participate in safety observation and intervention programmes
- Support Engineering Trials: Assist with field deployment of engineering trials and contribute to operational feedback when requested

- Experience in mechanical/electrical fields
