Control Panel Wireman (Multiple Positions) – Aberdeen
Bankhead Electrical Services, together with our specialist control systems division Bankhead Control Systems, delivers high-quality electrical installation, hazardous area (ATEX) works, and bespoke electrical control systems for industrial and hazardous area clients across the UK.
We are committed to working safely, delivering quality, and developing our team to meet the demands of a growing and varied workload.
About the Role
Following the award of multiple contracts across Scotland, we are looking to grow our team and are recruiting multiple experienced Control Panel Wiremen to join our workshop in Dyce, Aberdeen.
This is primarily a workshop-based role, with occasional site-based work as required. You will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of bespoke electrical control panels to client specifications, working from electrical schematics and drawings as part of our Bankhead Control Systems division.
Bankhead Control Systems is proud to be one of a small number of approved Bartec assembly partners in the UK, giving our team the opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading brands in hazardous area equipment. The successful candidate will be assembling high-quality, specialist enclosures and control systems to exacting standards – work that goes well beyond that of a typical panel shop.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
