Job Title: Wireman
Duration: 3 Month Contract
Location: Finchampstead, Berkshire (Onsite)
Rate: GBP 20 - GBP 25 per hour (Outside IR35)
Wireman Overview
My client is seeking experienced wireman to support their engineering and manufacturing operations on a contract basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for machine wiring, electrical assembly, and some control panel build work within a specialist manufacturing environment.
The Wireman Role Will Involve:
- Machine wiring and electrical assembly of industrial equipment
- Some control panel build and wiring work
- Working from electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Cable routing, termination, and connection of electrical components
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
- Supporting the build and assembly of bespoke machinery within a specialist engineering environment

The Wireman Will Need To Have The Following Attributes:
- Previous experience as a Wireman, Electrical Fitter, Electrical Assembler, or similar role
- Experience with machine wiring and electrical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of cable routing, termination, and electrical connections
- Experience with some control panel build work would be beneficial
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety
