The trainee wiring harness technician role will be expected to build wiring harnesses on a day to day basis.
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- To build, from a detailed drawing, sealed system wiring harnesses in a production environment to a high quality and in a timely manner
- Prototyping on car and building first harness with minimal information to specify components for volume production builds
- Make recommendations during builds to ensure best practice and HCI Codes of Practice are always followed
Full training will be provided.
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
