WMS Implementer
Overview
As a WMS Implementer, you will collaborate closely with business units to deploy applications and integrations that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business growth. In addition, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all processes in alignment with the standards set by the Technical, Customer, and Operations leadership.

This role will be based 5 Days per week on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business and operational teams to understand their requirements to implement and deliver any appropriate IT solutions for Warehouse Management Systems, as part of a wider landscape including WCS, TMS, LMS, YMS
- Support full implementations from Design, Solution Development and configuration, testing to go-live
- Lead small to medium technical implementations and effectively coordinate with infrastructure teams
- Execute and coordinate with other TCO specialists, Global teams and extended Maersk resources to deliver any development or customization if necessary
- Produce functional requirements, project plans, system configuration and test plans when leading a project
- Conduct training for super-users and project team members when necessary
- Handle any change requirements
- Assist in reviewing existing implementation and find any improvement opportunities with senior TCO members
- Resolve issues escalated to TCO
- Where necessary, act as an SME during major incidents
- Support any disaster recovery and system testing if needed
- Support any system migration and upgrade
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience of implementing and supporting warehouse management systems, and daily work using Bl analysis tools
- Experience in MS SQL, or any SQL language will be an added advantage
- Possess good business knowledge of supply chain execution in the following verticals:
- Distribution centre services in warehouse operations and contract logistics (must have)
- Transport management
- Experience in delivering major IT projects such as system updates, migrations, upgrades, integration.
- Basic knowledge in Project Management
- Warehouse automation exposure is a bonus
