About the Programme
At William Blair, we’re committed to developing the next generation of investment banking talent. Our Women in Banking Programme is a two-day immersive experience for high-potential female students, designed to introduce them to careers in investment banking.
Through hands-on workshops, commercial discussions, and networking opportunities, participants gain practical insights into the roles and culture of William Blair’s Investment Banking Group. With exposure to our collaborative, global platform and renowned experts, you’ll learn how talent contributes to high-impact deals across mergers and acquisitions, equity/debt financing, corporate advisory, and strategic transactions.
Participants manifest threat in robust environments, build meaningful networks, and have the opportunity to be considered for William Blair’s 2027 Summer Analyst Programme.

- Practical exposure to investment banking through workshops led by senior professionals
- Technical and commercial sessions focusing on:
- Valuation exercises
- Excel modelling
- Case study analysis
- Networking with Analysts, Associates, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors across our global teams
- Insight into William Blair’s culture, career path, and recruitment process
- Opportunity to build relationships with professionals and peers (Selected candidates: potential consideration for William Blair’s 2027 Summer Analyst Programme)

Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from undergraduate students (expected graduation: 2028) with:
- Evidence of academic excellence
- Passionate interest in finance, business, or investment banking
- Leadership potential, intellectual curiosity, and strong analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments
