Womenswear Designer
Create Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading premium womenswear fashion brand to recruit an experienced Womenswear Designer for their expanding Central London studio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative, fast-paced business renowned for its beautifully crafted collections, exceptional quality, and designs that celebrate and enhance the female silhouette. With design and sample development completed in-house, you'll be part of a highly collaborative team, working closely with the Creative Director to help shape future collections sold through global retail and online channels.
About the Role
As Womenswear Designer, you'll play a key role in designing across a diverse product range, including woven separates, jersey, lingerie, outerwear, and signature body-contouring styles. You'll be involved throughout the entire design process, from researching seasonal trends, fabrics, colours, and trims, to creating detailed CADs, technical packs, and flat sketches. You'll attend fit sessions, manage fabric developments and approvals, communicate with international suppliers and internal teams, and support sample development to ensure each collection is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Design across a diverse product range including woven separates, jersey, lingerie, outerwear, and signature body-contouring styles.
- Research seasonal trends, fabrics, colours, and trims.
- Create detailed CADs, technical packs, and flat sketches.
- Attend fit sessions and manage fabric developments and approvals.
- Communicate with international suppliers and internal teams.
- Support sample development to ensure high-quality delivery of collections.

Requirements
- At least four years' experience in womenswear design.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabric, and colour.
- Excellent technical skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and basic Excel.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
