Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A Bit About Our Programme

Every year, we host our work experience weeks across our offices in East Anglia.

Our Colchester work experience week is taking place between the 13 and 17 July and applications are now open!

Our work experience programme is open to everyone, but in particular:

  • GCSE students
  • A-level students
  • Undergraduates
  • Anyone looking to start a career in accountancy

The timings of the day run between 10am to 4pm, and applicants will need to be available to attend these sessions in person which will be held in our Colchester office.

What Can I Expect During Work Experience?

You will spend the week as a group, gaining insight into all key business areas, including Accounting, Audit, & Tax, hearing first-hand experience from our current students, who will share their journeys in the world of professional services so far and be able to understand what a role in each of these areas looks like, so that when it comes to applying for a full time position, you'll know exactly what you can expect.
