Work Pack Coordinator
Work Pack Coordinator – Hinkley Point C Project

About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Work Pack Coordinator on the Hinkley Point C project.
The Work Pack Coordinator will report to the Construction Manager and support the site construction team, ensuring work is properly planned, documented, and delivered safely and efficiently.
Working Rotation & Pay
The candidate will follow the Amentum construction team's rotation:
- 10 days on-site
- 4-day weekend break
- Starts on a Tuesday, finishing on the following Thursday Additionally, the role carries overtime and weekend pay rates, in line with the Hinkley Point C ESCA agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development, review, and approval of Work Packs in accordance with project requirements
- Ensure all Work Packs contain:
- Accurate RAMS
- Required drawings
- Validated permits
- Supporting documentation prior to issue
- Liaise with Construction Managers, Engineers, and Supply Chain to support readiness of work fronts
- Maintain alignment with programme requirements, ensuring Work Packs are delivered ahead of schedule
- Monitor progress of issued Work Packs and provide:
- Feedback on completion status
- Highlighting any constraints
- Ensure compliance with:
- CDM 2015 regulations
- HPC site procedures
- Amentum company standards
- Support safe systems of work by verifying:
- Permits
- Isolation procedures
- Logistics arrangements are in place
- Engage with site teams, planners, and stakeholders to:
- Resolve issues
- Maintain workflow continuity

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- HNC / HND (or equivalent) in:
- Engineering
- Construction Management
- Related discipline (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in:
- Construction or engineering project environments
- Ideally, large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in:
- Work Pack development, coordination, or document control processes
- Permit-to-work systems
- RAMS and construction sequencing
- Understanding of:
- CDM Regulations 2015
- Safe systems of work
- Familiarity with high-regulated environments:
- Nuclear sector experience is highly desirable
- Strong IT skills including:
- Document management systems (e.g., EDMS, SharePoint, BIM tools)
- Excellent:
- Organisational
- Communication skills
- Coordinating skills
- Attention to detail
Security Clearance
- Any offer of employment is strictly subject to meeting the relevant security requirements:
- BPSS clearance requirement
- Either SC (Security Check) or DV (Developed Vetting) clearance
- Non-British or dual nationals may be subject to additional evaluation depending on nationality and role requirements.
