The Role
We are looking for a Workday Analyst to join our team, focused on supporting and optimising our Workday platform following its successful implementation. This role is centred on ensuring Workday is effectively maintained, continuously improved, and fully leveraged to deliver value across the business.
You will act as a Workday subject matter expert, responsible for system configuration, data integrity, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements. Working closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and other business teams, you will support system adoption, optimise workflows, and identify opportunities for automation and improved reporting within Workday.

A key focus of the role will be driving continuous improvement, enhancing system functionality, refining processes, and ensuring a consistent and efficient user experience globally. You will take ownership of maintaining high-quality data, supporting core lifecycle processes within Workday, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform evolves in line with business needs.
This role would suit someone with strong Workday experience, keen attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, who is confident working across teams, owning system improvements, and maximising the impact of the platform.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Maintain and optimise the Workday platform, ensuring data integrity, system accuracy, and effective support for HR, Finance, and other business teams Configure and enhance Workday functionality, including business processes, workflows, and reporting to meet evolving business needs Act as a key point of contact for Workday support, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance to stakeholders across HR, Finance, and wider teams Partner with cross-functional teams to improve system adoption, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for automation within Workday Develop and maintain Workday documentation and standard operating procedures, ensuring consistent and effective use of the platform globally Produce and optimise Workday reporting and analytics, delivering insights to HR, Finance, and other stakeholders Perform regular system audits and data validation checks within Workday, ensuring compliance with internal controls and data governance standards Support ongoing Workday releases, enhancements, and new functionality, working with internal teams and external partners as needed Drive continuous improvement of Workday, enhancing user experience, standardising processes, and maximising value across the organisation

Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience working with Workday, ideally across HCM and/or Financials, with hands-on configuration and support experience Strong understanding of Workday business process frameworks, reporting, and data structures A collaborative team player, who is approachable, positive, and enjoyable to work with, able to build strong relationships across teams Experience maintaining data integrity, system accuracy, and governance standards within Workday Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot system issues and deliver effective solutions in a live environment Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. HR, Finance, IT) to gather requirements and deliver system improvements Strong capability in Workday reporting and analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Proven track record of driving system optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives Experience supporting Workday releases, enhancements, and change management activities Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and drive system adoption High attention to detail with a structured and proactive approach to problem-solving
