A Workday professional with experience supporting data, reporting, and operational processes within a managed services environment. Working closely with clients, you will continually enhance, maintain, and support Workday solutions, ensuring their long-term success and usability.

About the Role
As a member of the AMS (Application Managed Services) team, the Workday Data Consultant contributes to:
- Reducing data issues in Workday
- Enhancing client experiences
- Optimising processes through continuous improvement
Your role will involve collaborating across technical and functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and effective use.
Responsibilities
Client-Centric Support
- Serve as a Workday Data specialist, providing post-implementation guidance across diverse client environments.
- Strengthen client relationships by delivering tailored, data-focused solutions.
- Ensure business continuity through proactive incident management, problem resolution, and continuous support.
Operational Maintainance & Reporting
- Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues in Workday, including processes, reports, and data integrity problems.
- Support data validation, reconciliation processes, and ongoing management to maintain high-quality data.
- Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading for business decisions and reports.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and analytical tools for business intelligence.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements for recurring challenges.
- Drive data governance, accuracy, and quality initiatives with stakeholder collaboration.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise client processes, metadata, and data impacting operations.

Community Knowledge & Collaboration
- Provide subject-matter expertise on best practices in Workday data management, internally and externally.
- Support internal processes, tools, accelerators, and knowledge-sharing platforms to improve company efficiency.
- Contribute to learning materials and support innovation by identifying trends across client engagements.
- Actively participate in on-call support and holiday coverage duties when needed.
Skills & Requirements
Core Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or a related field.

Essential experience in:
- Supported ERP, HCM (Human Capital Management), Financial Management, or SaaS (Software as a Service) products in a production support/managed services role.
- Workday system – robust hands-on experience.
- Workday certification is highly recommended.

Workday data-specific expertise, such as:
- Data conversion, loading, reconciliation, and quality management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis across large or complex datasets.

Analytical SQL experience or knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
Key Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Exceptional data troubleshooting ability, including root cause identification to resolve complex cases.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement to bridge departments and teams effectively.
