Role Title: Workday Data Migration Lead Clearance: SC Clearance – Mandatory Location: UK-Based, Hybrid (High onsite presence during DM cycles & Cutover)

Role Purpose:

Lead and coordinate data migration activities in collaboration with the appointed Data Migration Partner to deliver a minimum of four Data Migration (DM) cycles, culminating in a 100% successful final cutover into the Workday ERP solution.

Requirements Key Responsibilities:

Define and document the overall data migration strategy aligned to phased implementation. Coordinate Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) activities across legacy and third-party systems. Establish clear entry and exit criteria for each DM cycle and ensure adherence to agreed acceptance thresholds. Oversee reconciliation reporting and validation processes to ensure financial, HR and payroll data integrity. Collaborate closely with functional leads to confirm data readiness for testing and Parallel Payroll Runs. Identify data risks, cleansing dependencies and governance requirements. Support development of detailed cutover plan including data freeze, validation checkpoints and rollback strategy. Ensure documentation of data mappings, transformation rules and audit controls. Work collaboratively across suppliers to ensure seamless data transition and avoid duplication or manual workaround solutions.

Extensive experience leading ERP data migration programmes including multi-cycle migrations. Strong Workday data conversion expertise. Proven experience managing reconciliation processes across Finance and HR data domains. Knowledge of ETL governance, data cleansing methodologies and structured validation frameworks. Experience operating within Secure by Design and regulated programme controls preferred.

Key Deliverables:

Approved migration strategy, four completed DM cycles, reconciliation reports, cutover data readiness sign-off, final error-free production load.
