Workday Finance Systems Manager

Learn more at geniussports.com THE ROLE: The Finance Systems Manager manages a small team responsible for the day to day running of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning. The role reports to the Head of Finance Transformation within the Global Finance team under the leadership of the Group Finance Director. The role is responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimization of the Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning systems. The role works closely with IT to ensure the system meets business requirements and operates smoothly. Duties & Responsibilities Manage and maintain Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning in a well-controlled and documented system environment Lead the Finance Systems team, motivating team members and encouraging them to learn and develop through their work Provide technical assistance for core financial processes Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key members of the Finance team and other global stakeholders Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders Stay on top of Workday updates Advise on system enhancements when appropriate for both Finance and the Business Run pilots for new functionality/system changes utilizing Finance team members for key roles in the pilots Optimise processes to achieve measurable outcomes Roll out ways of working which facilitate user self service Ensure system changes are communicated to users in a timely manner Develop a training strategy for users Oversee relationships with third-party providers involved in Workday support WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Workday Financials Certified Fully qualified accountant Experience in leading teams in a global context Outstanding stakeholder management Strong interpersonal skills and experience Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Evidence of achieving best practice outcomes using Workday A Continuous improvement ethos Experience in a US listed environment is useful with a working knowledge of SOX control We enjoy an ‘office-first’ culture and maximize opportunities to collaborate, connect and learn together.
