The Powered Apps function is a collaborative community of technology experts focusing on Workday, Oracle, and Coupa. Leveraging functional and cloud expertise, these teams provide leadership in:

  • Delivering complex Workday projects using predesigned solutions
  • Supporting pre-sales initiatives
  • Developing improvements and extensions to Powered Enterprise

The team is growing, driven by high demand for top-tier consulting services, and is seeking IT management consultants with expertise in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM).

Role Overview

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-focused Workday HCM Assistant Manager to join KPMG’s growing Corporate Services and People Team. In this role, you’ll:

  • Support Workday HCM implementations and optimisation projects
  • Assist in client programme delivery
  • Contribute to capability development within KPMG

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support:

    • Deliver and optimise Workday HCM implementations (e.g., Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Recruitment)
  • Workstream Management:

    • Assist in leading client projects, ensuring clarity, timelines, and quality
  • Configuration & Testing:

    • Configure and test Workday HCM modules to match client requirements accurately
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Engage with HR, IT, and business teams to clarify and align on requirements
  • Project Reporting:

    • Develop documentation, status updates, presentations for clients and internal leadership
  • Team Development:

    • Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and best practices
  • Methodology Innovation:

    • Contribute to standardised Workday tools, templates, and processes across KPMG
  • Industry Knowledge:

    • Stay current on Workday product updates and evolving market trends

Skills & Experience Required

  • Workday Relevant Background:

    • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM projects, preferably in a consulting or enterprise services environment
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Expertise in *Workday HCM, modules such as Core Hiring, Absence, Compensation, Talent (Taleo), and Recruitment
  • Technical Skills:

    • Experience with Workday configuration, testing workflows, and governance
    • Strong grasp of ITIL and Agile delivery frameworks
