The Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager to drive our 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) supporting the organisation’s transformation through the implementation of Workday as our HRIS.

Our transformation marks an exciting phase, with the rollout of Workday’s Advanced Compensation and Learning & Development (L&D) Modules. As Workday Project Manager, your role will ensure seamless execution of this critical programme.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Oversight

  • Lead day-to-day management of the team and all programme activities across:
    • Functional, Technical, Change Management, Testing, Deployment, and Cutover
  • Set deadlines, milestones, and assignments
  • Liaise with Turner & Townsend stakeholders for key deliverable sign-offs
  • Collaborate with Turner & Townsend PMO and other internal teams

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Ensure Turner & Townsend’s project activities are mapped into the project plan
  • Baseline, monitor, and update the project plan (in collaboration with Deloitte Engagement Manager)
  • Track progress against milestones and drive solution delivery to completion
  • Manage project risks and issues to mitigate impact
  • Lead and support change requests and orders (Workday HCM)
  • Own and execute workshop planning (supported by PMO)
  • Input into the overall cutover strategy

Stakeholder & Third-Party Engagement

  • Lead weekly status meetings with the project team (supported by PMO)
  • Manage third-party contractors and vendors on behalf of Turner & Townsend
  • Foster strong relationships across all functional and technical areas

** Qualifications & Experience**

  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale Workday Advanced Compensation and L&D Module implementations
  • Strong background in project management within HR Technology deployments
  • Proven track record of driving transformational change programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and third-party providers
  • Experience with SOX compliance controls (if applicable)
