About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager to lead our 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) during a period of organisational transformation as we integrate Workday as our HRIS (Human Resource Information System).

Key responsibilities include:

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of our Advanced Compensation & L&D (Learning & Development) Modules in Workday.
  • Oversee all aspects of the programme (Functional, Technical, Change, Testing, Deployment, Cutover).
  • Set deadlines, evaluate milestones, and assign responsibilities.
  • Liaise with Turner & Townsend contacts for sign-off on key deliverables.
  • Lead the Turner & Townsend project team, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with Deloitte’s Engagement Manager to baseline and update the project plan.
  • Track progress against the project timeline, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Coordinate solution deliverables and milestones to ensure completion.
  • Identify and mitigate risks/issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage change requests/orders and contribute to cutover strategy.

Team & External Management

  • Chair weekly project meetings to review status reports/progress (supported by PMO).
  • Manage all third-party contractors/vendors on behalf of Turner & Townsend.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops (assisted by the PMO).

Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale implementations of Workday’s Advanced Compensation and L&D Modules.
  • Proven track record in project management, especially within HRIS transitions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, set deadlines, and drive results.
  • SOX compliance awareness (applicable where needed).
