Workday Systems Analyst
Workday SME (Senior Consultant) – Alternative Investment Firm
Leading global alternative investment firm, known for its data-driven approach and collaborative culture across multiple international offices, seeks a key Workday Subject Matter Expert.
The firm operates in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, where HR systems and technology are critical to driving business success. In this role, you will support and optimise Workday HCM globally, ensuring best-in-class delivery and an exceptional user experience for employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day technical expert for Workday HCM, providing reliable, consistent support across the business
- Ensure a seamless global Workday experience, aligned with best practice configuration
- Lead the design and delivery of system enhancements and new functionality, including:
- Producing detailed design documentation
- Securing stakeholder alignment
- Proactively identify system issues and opportunities for improvement, troubleshooting challenges and implementing effective solutions, including ad hoc configurations where required
- Manage end-to-end delivery across:
- Configuration
- Testing
- Deployment of business processes, integrations, reports, and new features
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support:
- Testing
- Security requirements
- Downstream system integrations
- Support ongoing system maintenance, including participation in bi-annual Workday releases
- Develop and maintain reporting capabilities, including dashboard solutions, to meet evolving business needs
- Contribute to training materials and deliver system demonstrations to end users

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with Workday HCM, with preference for exposure to:
- Talent
- Learning
- Absence
- Reporting
- Experience supporting Workday in a global environment
- A proactive mindset with a strong interest in:
- Solving business challenges
- Optimising end-to-end processes through system configuration
- Demonstrates sound judgement, high integrity, and an ability to handle sensitive employee/financial data with confidentiality
- Strong commercial awareness with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
