As a Workday Test Manager you will be responsible for leading test initiatives and managing communications among all vested stakeholders. You will be responsible for all aspects of Workday test management delivery, including planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling projects to successful outcomes. You will collaborate with functional end users, functional SMEs, department leaders, IT, vendors, and to successfully deliver projects for Virtual Resource Clients. The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to standard test management methodology and best practice with a keen understanding of the systems development life cycle (STLC). As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.
Job Description Develop and document comprehensive Workday test plans Plan, design, and develop new and innovative test strategies to meet project needs Implement best practice processes, and drive continuous improvement for repeatable successful test delivery Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management Lead and connect all parties involved in the test activities including business managers, programme managers and project team/s, to ensure the creation of integrated solutions and plans meet organisational guidelines and priorities Manage multiple test cycles simultaneously, keeping them on track Ensure all test activities comply with the standards and procedures of VirtualResource and VirtualResource clients Other duties as assigned Must have Workday Test management experience is a must Experience with HR projects is a must Business Analysis and Requirements gathering abilities Advantageous Previous project management experience Educated to degree level Experience in Agile and waterfall methodologies As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the EMEA or South Africa, so long as you are authorised to work without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
