Workforce Delivery Consultant
Join a team that makes a real difference in healthcare delivery.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Workforce Delivery Consultant to play a pivotal role in attracting, onboarding, deploying, and supporting clinicians across a range of high-quality clinical services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about ensuring healthcare services are staffed with exceptional clinical talent.
About the Role
As a Workforce Delivery Consultant, you will manage the complete clinician journey—from sourcing and engaging talented healthcare professionals through to onboarding, compliance, scheduling, and ongoing workforce coordination. You will act as the bridge between clinicians and operational teams, ensuring the right professionals are placed into the right services at the right time.
This is a dynamic role that combines recruitment expertise, workforce planning, stakeholder management, and operational delivery. You will work closely with Service Delivery Managers, Clinical Leads, and Compliance teams to maintain a strong talent pipeline and ensure seamless service delivery across multiple clinical specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational and clinical teams to understand workforce requirements, service demands, and candidate profiles.
- Source, attract, and engage high-calibre clinicians through LinkedIn, job boards, CV databases, referrals, networking, and targeted campaigns.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including screening, interviews, onboarding, and deployment.
- Coordinate compliance requirements with internal teams to ensure clinicians are fully cleared and ready to work.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clinical talent to support current and future service needs.
- Match clinicians to suitable assignments, ensuring the correct skills, experience, and availability are aligned to service requirements.
- Schedule and book clinicians into shifts, maintaining workforce coverage and service continuity.
- Develop strong relationships with clinicians, providing ongoing support and communication throughout their placements.
- Share assignment information, briefing packs, travel arrangements, and service-specific details ahead of deployments.
- Maintain accurate workforce records across recruitment, compliance, scheduling, and payroll systems.
- Monitor workforce capacity, proactively escalating staffing risks and clinician concerns where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment, scheduling, and workforce management processes.
- Represent the organisation at conferences, networking events, and industry forums to enhance brand awareness and clinician engagement.
- Support and mentor new team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and operational expertise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
