About the Role
Learn Welsh Swansea Bay Region is recruiting for a Workforce Welsh Tutor to deliver Welsh language instruction to employees across multiple industries, delivering high-quality, motivating teaching and support at all levels.

The role is part-time and fixed-term until 31 July 2027, with potential extension pending future funding in the Learn Welsh sector. The successful applicant will contribute to increasing the number of people learning and using Welsh across various sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Welsh to adults (10–12 hours per week) in face-to-face or online sessions, catering to beginner to proficiency levels.
- Assessing and mentoring learners.
- Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to uphold high standards of provision.
- Participating in a national network of workplace tutors, overseen by the National Centre for Learning Welsh.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high level of Welsh proficiency (Level 3 - fluently).
- Substantial teaching experience delivering Welsh to adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital technologies to support learning.
- Availability to travel across Swansea Bay region, including flexible scheduling as needed.
